“Church” happens all the time — in a living room, in Starbucks, or in a soup kitchen — but on Sunday mornings the people who gather in those smaller groups come together as a larger community. It’s a weekly “family reunion” — a time of worship, teaching, meeting new people and catching up with friends.
The atmosphere is casual. The chairs are comfortable, the coffee is hot, and a lot of people are dressed in jeans. You don’t have to impress anyone, so be yourself. You’re welcome no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.
Services are at 9a and 10:45a, September through June. During July and August our service is at 9:30a.
The foyer and sanctuary are on the first floor—the entrance is at the rear of the building. The handicapped-accessible entrance is located on the east side of the building, adjacent to the small parking lot.
Our Welcome Center and the Higher Grounds Café are in the foyer – pick up a Welcome Bag and grab a complimentary cup of fair-trade coffee!
Children’s ministries are located on the second floor – there is an entrance on the north (street) side of the building, or you can take the stairs from the first floor.
Infants and toddlers typically enter the nurseries at the beginning of the services. Older children join their parents for worship and then leave for teaching upstairs. Classes for preschool through fifth grade are available during both services. Sixth through eighth graders (ignite) and high school students (FUEL) meet during the 9a service.
