‘Twas The Night When Grace Met Truth

The scene of Jesus' birth is just so heartwarming: Joseph, Mary, the shepherds, and the manger. Many of us have a replica of it on our mantles. The scene of Jesus’ death...not so much. No Joseph, no followers, just a weeping mother and a gruesome crucifixion. How did we get from one to the other? What was the message of this man, the one whose birth was so celebrated? The message that resulted in His death. The message that offended so many, so deeply? It was grace. Are you offended this Christmas? Maybe you should be.
