…So Insecure

Most of us carry into adulthood some of the insecurities we faced as children. We received criticism or disparaging comments from peers, bullies, or dysfunctional family members, and we believed what they said was true. Then, when faced with overwhelming challenges as adults, voices from our childhood insecurities seem to resurface, saying, "You're a failure...you're not enough...you're a loser...you will never win." Why am I so insecure? And, where do I find real security? Learning the difference between "self-confidence" and "God-confidence,” this Sunday at Mendham Hills.
