Most of us have had the experience of someone getting our name wrong. Sometimes it’s funny. Sometimes it’s awkward. And sometimes, depending on the relationship, it actually hurts because you thought they knew you. Names matter, and if they matter to us, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised that names matter to God. In the Scriptures, God goes by lots of them. Why? Because He wants you to know Him. Some of us have spent years reacting to a version of God that God Himself never introduced. Join us this summer as we allow our great God to reintroduce Himself and, in so doing, maybe rediscover who it is you really are.
