Ever set your sights on something—or maybe even someone—and you were sure if you could just have it, or him, or her…well, then everything would be better? And then you got it. Or them. And everything…wasn’t any better. Some of our biggest disappointments come after we think we have finally found what we need. This Sunday, God’s people find themselves in that same place, and His name reveals Him as their Healer. But the strange thing is, no one in the story is sick. What kind of Healer is this? And what kind of healing do we really need?
