In all my years of preaching, I don’t think I’ve ever intentionally gone back and covered material I’ve taught before, but this Sunday I’m going to. Not because I’ve run out of things to say, but because I’ve become convinced that this is too foundational—and too easy to get wrong—to leave in the past. We’ll look at how we relate to God, and the subtle ways faith can become a bargain, a formula, or a means to get something else. If religion has just never seemed to make perfect sense or work for you...this is your series.
