We live in a culture built around one question: “What can this do for me?” We ask it about careers, relationships, money, even people. So what happens when we start treating God the same way—useful when life is working, disappointing when it isn’t, and maybe unnecessary when we can get what we want without Him? Maybe the biggest issue isn't whether God is giving us what we want. Maybe it’s what we actually want from God in the first place.
