America At 250

As the United States of America celebrates its 250th birthday this weekend, we need to recognize that living in the freest, most prosperous nation is a gift from God and be wise stewards of this gift. Many say that the USA is not a "Christian nation.” While it is true that many people in this nation are not Christian and that this nation has not always lived up to Christian ideals, there are still many Christian principles established at its founding that continue to operate today, which we sometimes take for granted. What were some of these principles? Where did they come from? And what do we need to do to preserve them?
